The Traveler Who Learned From a Bear
Two men, Caleb and Logan, decided to go hiking while spending their weekend at YellowStone Park. Making there way through hills and valleys, they were suddenly approached by a bear. This bear was huge and intimidating. Its growl echoed among the trees, while letting its sharp teeth be known they were there. When Logan spotted the beast, he quickly shimmied up a tree for safety. Caleb panicking, thinking surely he would be attacked, hit the ground as a opposum would, and played dead. Remembering that he had once read that a bear would have no interest in a dead body, he followed his instincts. While Caleb was holding his breath and his position, the bear came up and inspected him with his snout. He smelt him all over with his powerful senses, making Caleb's heart race. The bear, falling for his act, soon left him. After making sure the animal was gone, Logan climbed down from the tree. He asked Caleb what it was that the bear had whispered into his ear. "He gave me a little bit of advice," Caleb replied. "Never travel with a friend who deserts you at the sign of danger."
